Camp Krem infirmary, county of santa cruz

Camp Krem is a camp instutitution founded 65 years ago. Funded by donations and public sources, Camp administration decided to upgrade their infirmary facilities to meet current State Requirements.  Also, the non-profit camp provides summer camping for children and adults with developmental disabilities where 24 hour health services must be provided.  Living quarters for 2 nurses was required as well. The Camp also services a civic public purpose by providing a location for business conferences and seminars.

The proposed building and curved trellis greet the campers when they first arrive at the traffic circle.  The head of the building is defined by a sloping trellis which provides shade to campers who meet 3x/day at the pass-thru window for their daily medications and water.
